Hi I’m Shirley Renwick, and I help business owner’s find solutions to their most pressing problems.
<!– Begrk. Your family is feeling neglected and complaining because you are always working. It seems as though nobody does their job properly – you have to check everything your staff has done – so you might as well do it yourself – at least then you know it has been done properly. You know that you really need to plan and put systems in place, but first you need to get these urgent jobs out of the way, and then you will get to it – but that never happens – new urgent jobs keep appearing.
You have that anxious feeling when you wake up in the night and remember about the accounts that you have to pay. You just know that here is not enough money in your bank account. There is no one to talk to. You can’t speak to your spouse/partner – this is such an emotional issue that it just leads to fights and takes you even further away from a solution. You definitely can’t talk to your staff or your colleagues. And definitely not the bank manager!! Your mind races over the same things over and over again – asking the same questions over and over again
How can I get more money?
How am I going to tell my staff/suppliers/etc that I can’t pay them?
Which of my customers can I hound for payment?
You feel like running away, but there is nowhere to go, and no one to turn to. You feel totally isolated.
You can’t ever seem to find good, reliable staff – it is usually easier just to do the job yourself. They are lazy and incompetent, and don’t seem to understand the urgency and importance of the work they are supposed to be doing.
Don’t worry!! You are not alone, and there is help available!
There is only one basic rule in business coaching: In order for your business to change, you have to change.
So simple. And yet, not obvious. If more of us realised this fundamental truth, more of us would be happier running a business – and, more businesses would be successful.
The good news is, that understanding that the choices we have made, have created the business we have positions us to make different choices to create the business we really want. Even better, arriving at this understanding is the toughest part of the change we need to make. The rest is a creative adventure. One of the most satisfying on which you’ll ever embark.
You’ll end up running your business instead of it running you. You’ll free up personal resources. You’ll make more money. You’ll get to do all those things for which you currently just never seem to have the time, money, or energy. And, you’ll grow as a person.
